Epson Certifies FOLOS at the National Restaurant Association Show 2017

Chicago, IL, May 22, 2017 — Epson America, Inc., a leading supplier of value-added Point of Sale (POS) solutions, announced in conjunction with the National Restaurant Association Show (NRA) 2017 that Food Online Ordering Systems (FOLOS), a provider of custom, in-house online ordering solutions for restaurants, has certified Epson's latest product addition, the OmniLink® TM-T88VI-i intelligent POS printer.

The certification enables FOLOS to provide a seamless online ordering experience for restaurant brands across all locations — with a sophisticated, integrated, custom-designed solution. FOLOS demonstrated the joint solution at NRA Show, May 20–23, at McCormick Place in Chicago, booth #6676 in the technology pavilion.

FOLOS also showcased its newest restaurant online ordering solutions at the show, including a self-ordering kiosk that allows restaurants to reduce staff and labor expense by adding customer ordering stations. The kiosk solution leverages Epson's OmniLink TM-T88VI-i and its Server Direct printing feature to push orders placed at kiosk stations directly to the restaurant and immediately print from cloud servers.

Prior Epson Certifications

FOLOS had previously certified the Epson TM-T88V-i and OmniLink TM-T20II-i intelligent printers, going back to 2015. The NRA Show 2017 announcement added the TM-T88VI-i — Epson's newest generation at the time — and introduced kiosk integration as an extension of the FOLOS platform.
