FOLOS and Epson Demo Joint Ordering Solution at WestEX 2015

Epson America, Inc. and Food Online Ordering Systems (FOLOS) demonstrated their joint restaurant online ordering solution at WestEX 2015, the Colorado Restaurant Association's annual regional trade show. Attendees were able to see how FOLOS's online ordering system leverages Epson's OmniLink® TM-T88V-i intelligent printer to streamline the restaurant ordering process and improve sales.

Epson's smart printer, integrated with the FOLOS solution, creates one of the most efficient systems in the marketplace — working alongside any restaurant POS system. The FOLOS platform, fully branded to each restaurant, integrates with a restaurant's website and online presence. Busy restaurants receive orders in real-time without managing faxes, emails, or additional tablets.

The Colorado Restaurant Association organized WestEX 2015, bringing together restaurant professionals and business owners from the central western region for group discussions and seminars on restaurant operations and technology.

How the Joint Solution Works

The FOLOS and Epson integration eliminates the most common pain points in restaurant online ordering: no fax machine, no extra tablet, no confirmation calls. Orders placed by customers online are routed directly to the Epson OmniLink printer in the kitchen — using Epson's Server Direct Print technology to push from cloud servers without requiring a local PC or server.

The result is a seamless experience for both the restaurant and the customer: orders arrive immediately, print automatically, and integrate with the existing POS workflow.
